Ugh diaper rash. So Croix got a pretty decent diaper rash in the first 4 weeks that made me so sad to see as a first time mom. I called the triage nurse, yes again, to make sure I was doing all I could do to help it go away. She said to let him air dry as much as possible and make sure he was dry before I put on his diaper, both of which I was already doing. She then said to give him baking soda baths 3 times a day for 10 minutes each for a couple days and to use Triple Paste, which my doctor recommeneded (we only had Buttpaste and Desitin). So Chaz went out and bought Triple Paste, which I lathered on like cake frosting, and I went to town on the air drying and baking soda baths. It did get better in the next day and I felt so much better for my baby boy!
