We spent the morning enjoying Croix and eased into the day. Today would be the first night (9.1.12) out without Croix. This would be the first time both Chaz and I left together to go somewhere without him since before he was born. I was a bit anxious but I knew he would be in good hands. My aunt Deb would be watching him. (She will also be watching him when I go back to work).
We were headed to a Brewer game with our friends Andy and Allison.
I packed the bag and Chaz prepared a couple bottles. Off we go! We dropped him off and it felt a little weird but It was okay.
I had to pump while at the game. I decided to pump in the family restroom(bad idea) vs. going down to the first floor first aid room. I was in the restroom for about 20 minutes, during that time there was three knocks on the door. Each time I responded with "yes there's someone in here" and just as I was finishing up I hear a another knock and "m'am are you okay?" Oh my goodness! "Yes I am" I respond. I walk out and there were two older guy security workers concerned I was not okay. I had to explain I was pumping... they seemed confused. Oh well, I'll never see them again.
The rest of the game went off well and the Brewers won, yay!
Here are some pictures my aunt so kindly sent to me during the game to ease my nerves and show how much Croix enjoyed his time over there. He was snoozin' away when we picked him up. Success!
